Sweets of the islandYaimaya

Ohri Tohri (a dialect of WELCOME), we have packed our island's mind.

There is a mythology "if we look at Ishigaki-jima from other part of sea, it looks like 8 mountains are overlapped." The name of Yaeyama comes from this. In Okinawa dialect, they also say "Yaima." 'The island's sweet, Yaeyama-ya" is a local sweet brand name which was born by the producers or island people's warm feeling they want many people to know the local attractive specialties of Purple yam, brown sugar, pineapples and long pepper. We would be happy if we could reach as many peoples' minds as possible as a new face of island's sweets.
